As part of our Book Week celebrations, we went to the Library to listen to Rosemary Selkirk read and share her book with us. It was an interesting story with great illustrations. We especially liked how the tablecloth changed according to the colour of the monsters. The author was FANTASTIC in the questions she asked us. We had to reflect on where is our imagination. Her son had composed special monster music that we monstered to. Finally we designed and drew our own monsters. Mrs. Selkirk presented each of us with a sticker set of the monsters. Our teachers thought Mrs. Selkirk was extremely professional in her questions and the manner in which she engaged all the students. We hope Mrs. Selkirk comes back next Book Week with a new book.
